Free California (CA) OnlyFans

Nobody hearing them lose is what some of them would prefer, while others talk for a living. A frank podcast host sits beside a virtual sea-witch, a seamstress who stitches her own heroes, a dominatrix at home in goth club nights and a gamer still cross with a chicken. There is also an archer who records albums, a foliage chaser with a camera crew and a Kakegurui gambler who wins every bet. Seriousness about themselves never lasts long with any of them, which may be what they share most.

California is the address on their cards, though their lives reach further: London, Massachusetts and the Big Island all come into the story. The 160 creators listed here draw the most return visits when they have a character to play.

Every creator on this page makes ASMR, so the whispering is taken for granted. What lifts a page above the rest is a character. Measured across every page, cosplay stands at 14%; among California's most popular, 18%. Small as it is, the gap means something. A borrowed persona gives a soft voice somewhere to go, whether that is a gambler's grin, a superhero's swagger or a witch who lives under the sea. Fans seem to want someone to play along with, more than someone who simply performs. Several of the women below treat a costume as an opening line and expect the conversation to carry on from there.

#1A real woman: The Host Who Asks the Awkward Question

Frankness is what she offers. Unusually candid talk drives the podcast that A real woman co-hosts. This autumn she has been working through rejection, which she treats as information rather than a verdict, and asking what happens to human connection once technology can offer pleasure and company. This September she spent a day at Thorpe Park; her base is Islington, in north London, not the California address on her card. Her invitation is to come curious and play: a solo page with a goddess streak, teasing and warm rather than aloof. Admirers love that no subject is off limits and that she takes on every one of them with a grin.

#2Taylor’s diary: The Tangent-Prone Costume Captain

Give her a microphone and a first name she has opinions about, and Taylor’s diary will happily wander off on a tangent about girl code and why one unlucky name always gets the blame. She played the Powerpuff Girls as a squad with gamer friends, taking Buttercup herself, and has also been Lady Lihua from The Apothecary Diaries. An autumn that refuses to cool down is, to this Los Angeles resident, a reason for another day by the pool. Expect theatre and flirtation from this cosplayer, gamer and streamer, whose OnlyFans welcomes custom requests. It feels like hanging out with the loudest, funniest person at the convention.

#3林千夜Chloe Lin: The Kakegurui Card Sharp

Gamblers' grins suit her. In Los Angeles, 林千夜Chloe Lin plays Yumeko from Kakegurui with the cheerful menace of someone who knows you are about to lose the bet. She went to Anime Expo as a NIKKE heroine for a cosplay music video. She jokes like a gamer too: you finally reach the final boss, and the final boss teaches you a lesson. She flirts in English and Mandarin, glamorous one moment and goofy the next, and she arrived recently on the Beverly Hills circuit of shoots and podcast guest spots. Her page is the tidy kind: solo and shared scenes plus custom content, with everything included once you subscribe.

#4Sabrina Alexis: The Seamstress With a Pirate Streak

Needle and paintbrush do as much work as the camera for Sabrina Alexis. She builds cosplay from scratch, including a grown-up Toph Beifong, and sells the finished pieces. She paints as well, most recently a dark canvas built around her line that death inspires her the way a dog inspires a rabbit. Supergirl, Spider-Girl and Faye Valentine all get a turn, and her devotion to Jack Sparrow is a running joke she happily tells against herself. She has dogs at home and a self-mocking streak: she is the clumsy assistant who was hired for her personality. Expect live streams, custom content and a cheeky, gothic flirt with a dare in it.

#5nineinchheels: The Bar Sinister Siren

Goth club nights are where she belongs, and nineinchheels prefers to run with the Gotham City Sirens rather than alone. She talks business as easily as she talks shadows, and she is loudly in favour of women backing women. Custom content, ASMR and cosplay come with a slow, wicked dominatrix smile on LoyalFans, for anyone happy to hand over the reins.

#6Ebony Butts: The Astro Bot Sore Loser

Nobody rage-quits Astro Bot with more charm. In San Diego, Ebony Butts sits down at the PlayStation announcing she is locking in, then loses to a level she insists is literally impossible. She really does not like that chicken. Minecraft gets the same treatment, complete with an uninvited guest in her house. Self-mockery is the draw, alongside a cheeky, sweet streak and readiness to be the joke. Before anything else she would like to be friends, and her OnlyFans mixes fitness, twerking, chat and custom requests.

#7Dharma Jones: The Leaf-Peeping Renaissance Woman

October belongs to the Catskills. For Dharma Jones, peak foliage means a week of cabin shoots near Bethel Woods in upstate New York, at a photography retreat with fellow models among the reds and golds. Shoots in Los Angeles took the end of her summer, although she is based in Massachusetts. At home on a yoga mat with a friend or facing a camera, she is a model, travel vlogger and food critic, a renaissance woman in the old sense. Glamorous and warm, she offers exclusive photos and videos, live streams and custom content on her OnlyFans page.

#9Umi Majo: The Sea-Witch of the Gilgamesh Server

Born of salt and run on chaos, Umi Majo is a virtual sea-witch who goes live three evenings a week on Pacific time and treats her chat like a pack of collared dogs. Her humour is gloriously unhinged: Waluigi, betrayal by McNuggets, dating-app horror stories, loud denials that she is Paimon and a grumble about landlords. Away from her own streams she lives in Final Fantasy XIV, throwing parties on the Gilgamesh server with a live in-game orchestra. Her flirting is bratty and theatrical, in a voice built to tease, and her OnlyFans page welcomes tributes.

#10Eli Star: The Big Island Archer With an Album Habit

Music comes by the album with Eli Star, who now lives in the Puna District of the Big Island. Her latest is mostly instrumental and meant to be played in order, with the track titles telling the story. She started an archery group for women, makes chicken-wire jewellery frames by hand and finished two bachelor's degrees, graduating in Balboa Park in San Diego. Norse shield-maidens are her muse and lifting is her habit. Her OnlyFans page mixes dancing, cosplay and lifting, sultry with a warrior's grin.
